History

In 2017 I was awarded the junior award from the Goldsmiths’ Craft and Design Council, for my apprenticeship masterpiece, the kingfisher.

This piece inspired me to create my own company so I could continue my passion for creative design and make my mark on the jewellery trade in my own unique way. In January 2019 this became a reality and I started Humphreys London. The kingfisher, my key achievement in my journey as a goldsmith, remains the leading theme.

Biography

BRADLEY HUMPHREYS

Following my completion of NVQ Level 2 at Holt Academy, Hatton Garden, I gained a bound apprenticeship with Theo Fennel via the Goldsmiths Company. It was there that I developed my skills and completed my apprenticeship, producing the award winning masterpiece ‘The Kingfisher’ which has now become the theme for the Humphreys London brand.

Just before leaving Theo Fennels I won several awards at the Goldsmiths Craft and Design Centre including the junior award which recognised me as the best young jeweller under 30.

Moving on I joined Vashi to develop my knowledge with regards to diamonds and retail marketing, and working directly with clients I developed customer understanding. I worked very closely with the clients, undertaking small focus groups, providing workshops and master classes to give them a better understanding and knowledge of the products, with the speciality being engagement rings.

Humphreys London has been created to pull these experiences together. Offering the marriage of the best craftsmanship, extensive knowledge of diamonds, a timeless design aesthetic, and all with the high levels of customer focused service you would expect from the best luxury jewellery boutiques.
